I’m Philip and I’m a student in England, currently studying computer science at university.
My free time has been considerably reduced while at university, but in the free time I do get, I enjoy programming and hacking on things, with Totem being the project I’m currently contributing the most to — I’ve contributed the YouTube plugin, as well as rewrites for GtkBuilder, and a lot of bug triaging.
I maintain a few projects of my own, such as libgdata and Almanah Diary.
My musical tastes are quite specific; I’m a metalhead, into a whole range of subgenres, from classic heavy metal, to folk metal.
Aside from computers, I’m a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bruce Willis films, enjoy making miniature models and playing around with hardware, and have a collection of unusual plants, including Spiny Norman the cactus and Gordon the airplant.
